25 years of the Waste Water Treatment Framework Directive

25 years have passed since the FRAMEWORK DIRECTIVE ON WASTE WATER TREATMENT

Directive 91/271/EEC, as amended by Directive 98/15/EC, defines the systems for the collection, treatment and discharge of urban waste water. This directive has been
transposed into Spanish regulations by R.D. Law 11/1995, R.D. 509/1996, which develops it, and R.D. 2116/1998 that modifies the previous one.
